Every purchase that you make, you will be issued with a certificate. These will all be saved to your online profile so you can access, print or save and email at any time. Our stones supplied are sourced and certified by world recognized lads example GIA (Gemological Institute of America) and EGL (European Gemological Laboratory and College of Gemology).

“What is a conflict diamond and do you sell them?”

We do not sell conflict diamonds.

The Kimberley Process is an international certification scheme that regulates trade in rough diamonds. It aims to prevent the flow of conflict diamonds, while helping to protect legitimate trade in rough diamonds.

The Kimberley Process Certification Scheme (KPCS) outlines the rules that govern the trade in rough diamonds. The KPCS has developed a set of minimum requirements that each participant must meet. We, here at Diamond Advisor, do not deal in conflict stones of any sort and are fully supportive of The Kimberley Process.

“What payment methods do you offer?”

“Will I be liable for my diamond or jewellery while it is in transit?”

We fully insure each order all the way to you, which means your shipment is risk-free in transit. For added security, it is our policy that a signature is required for all Diamond Advisor orders, regardless of any signature waivers you may have with our carrier.

“Can you help me keep the engagement ring a surprise?”

“Do we insure jewellery?”

Diamond Advisor ensures that all pieces that are purchased through us are insured by us for the purpose of safety whilst in transit to you. Every purchase over R15,000 / $1,000 will be accompanied by an insurance valuation which the customer can then use to cover with their insurer of choice. When purchasing a loose stone, your receipt / invoice has all the details pertaining to the diamond which is what you, the customer, will take to your local insurer to get it covered. We are always on hand to assist with any queries in this regard.

When you place an international order, we will ship it to you for free using “safe hands” delivery with FEDEX Couriers. Once the package arrives in your country, the courier will contact you to collect any taxes or duties. International Parcel Delivery with FEDEX will reach you within 2 to 5 Business Days for most major destinations in Africa, Europe, Asia and the USA.

“How do I establish my correct ring size?”

There are several methods available online to establish your ring size but we highly recommend that you visit your local jeweler and have your finger professionally sized. This will enable us to design and size your ring perfectly.

“What if my ring is too big or too small?”

We would be happy to resize your ring for you and will return it to you free of charge. We will offer one free resizing within 6 months of the purchase date.
